Big Game Hunting
The dream of Big Game hunting in New Zealand almost always includes legendary snow-capped mountains, clear mountain streams, lush valleys, and the camaraderie of a trusted and experienced Kiwi hunting guide.

At Glazebrook Station, your dream can be realized. On over 25,000 acres, we offer both free range hunting and a 3000 acre game estate, providing our customers with challenging hunting experiences for trophy red stag, fallow deer, wapiti, or chamois. Our guides are high country specialists, and work tirelessly to put you in the right place, at the right time, so that when you look down the sites of your rifle, you see the finest trophy available.

Big game season begins in late February and continues through the end of August. In March and April the valleys echo with the daunting roar of the Red Stag, and the bugling of Wapiti (elk). While the roar is the traditional time to hunt trophy red stag, we are able to harvest them during the entire hunting season.

Stag, fallow deer, and Wapiti, can but hunted both free-range, as well as inside our game estate. Chamois are hunted from the snow-capped mountain peaks, fully-guided and accessible by helicopter.

With only one season of hunting to its credit, Glazebrook Station is already garnishing a reputation for superb trophies. Click here to learn more about booking a hunting expedition to Glazebrook Station.
